Good stuff, I think when I first saw the anime this is when I really started appreciating Guts as a character. I think his desire to step out of Griffith's shadow and live for himself and find a dream of his own is very admirable and oh so very easy to relate to. It's awesome that this big burly strong soldier actually manages to show so much depth.
Could this be the start of a romance between him and Casca?
