Some very huge hints that Jill is being sexually abused by the father's friends, on top of the beatings given by her dad. It's not all that surprising she'd be interested in this new exciting man named Guts that just showed up out of the blue. I just hope it won't prove fatal, like has been the case for pretty much every one to meet him after the Eclipse, aside from Puck of course.
I enjoy the interactions between Guts and Puck btw. Also, Miura's art seems to have really improved this volume. Which is saying something, as the art as always been great. In particular, I notice in recent volumes that the drawings of the female characters have improved. There used to be a lot of emphasis on the lips. I'm not sure when that changed.
