Berserk Chapter 103 Discussion

Casca survived too? I'm really glad for that. Anyway everything from this point on is completely new for me so I'm even more excited.

This chapter gave me a sense of relief even if the path that lies ahead of Guts is filled with danger and demons.



Based Skull Knight though. I'm interested in what his motives are.

From here on out this is completely new material for me. The TV series ended when Guts got his eye stabbed out. This should be interesting.

Yeah all this is new for me as well, so let's see how it will be from now on.

Holy shit, Skeleton Knight just jumped to one of my favorite characters. That was bad ass. When I saw he had not just Guts but Casca with him aswell, I felt a smidgeon of happiness for the first time in a few chapters.



Griffith looked at Guts and reached for him, but didn't seem to do anything. Maybe it would have been futile, or maybe he consciously let him go. Interesting.



Seeing Rickert outside again was nice. He's been through a lot of shit. I expect some serious character development, if he lives long enough. Seeing him tremble before the supernatural crap he was witnessing was funny. Skeletonbro lifting him up onto his ride was cool, as well.



Zodd remains as mysterious as ever...although a couple of chapters ago he did say his goal was to meet strong people.



Now that Guts and Casca seem to be relatively safe, my worry for Casca's mental state has surfaced again.

The skull knight was their ally after all? damn that's interesting how he even knew how Guts was Born from a dead person when he first appeared....what really is he O.O

Skull Knight is a demon hunter ...



Its been alluded to a few times ..



when he first met Guts he said Guts has something within him that'll make him useful in the future (slaying demons)



When he and Zodd were having a face off in the tornado , Zodd said Skull Knight has opposed him for 1000 years





Basically this whole segment was Skull Knight recruiting Guts .. but first seeing if Guts has what it takes to survive on his own
