Every time when the devil is born, arrangements for the counter force start simultaneously. I wonder how guts will be able to fight those demons like zodd and now even angel griffith.

Casca and Guts are alive.

Interesting, I always sort of assumed Casca died during the Eclipse. It seems she too has a role to play from here on out. Though living with what happened to her is arguably worse...



From here on out this is completely new material for me. The TV series ended when Guts got his eye stabbed out. This should be interesting.

As other people above the thread have said, this chapter was a welcome respite from the intensity and visceral-ness of the previous chapters. Seeing Skull Knight save the day and completely wreck some of those abhorrent demons was relieving.



Still have no idea what he's about (as well as Zodd for that matter), but those two are extremely intriguing characters. Starting to formulate some possible theories in my head as to who they are and what they want.



But overall, it is an exciting time. I fell in love with the 97 anime after watching it earlier this year and picked up the manga to continue the story. Completely uncharted territory from now on. Looking forward to more of this epic.



It's crazy how almost everything I have ever admired in anime/video games/dark fantasy can be traced directly back to Berserk. Definitely one of the top three best pieces of fiction I have ever come across, and it feels like I'm just getting started~

I'm glad Guts and Casca escaped. Serves Griffith right.

zodd is one of the few respectable villains in this manga. skeletor is such a chad. good to see casca surviving. she might physically recover from this but i fear that she might not mentally recover from this.

My God... you couldn't even begin to imagine how these last chapters made me feel. I can truly say that this manga, in my eyes, is a masterpiece. I really don't know if there was any other book, movie, anime or anything that impressed me as much as  this did. I was literally staring blankly, fervently thinking about what happened. Even now, I'm still shaken.
