I love how this was written. This chapter made a very compelling argument for Griffith's ambitions. Sure, people have and will die for his dream but doesn't him rising to the top make their "sacrifice" worth it?

I don't know how the rest of the manga goes after this arc ends, but Griffith's character arc so far has been nothing short of brilliant.

I can get his way of thinking, if he doesn't sacrifice them the already dead ones whould have died for nothing, but on the other hand without these guys he wouldn't be alive and standing now.

Griffith is an ends justifies the means type of guy.

Or rather the means he used have been so horrifying, it'd be disrespectful to all the dead corpses he's piled up to stop before he reached the end.

That's a way to look at life! But not a very agreeable one for the masses of dead he leaves in his wake.

Symbolic journey through griffiths mind. He's been willing to sacrifices others for his main goal.

Griffith has his point... But fueled by obsession, without any reversal.

What more can he do...?
