Kiriko literally said she killed 150k+ people. She's partly trying to atone for her sins and ensuring that nobody else gets harmed through her experiments (ironic though considering if she fails mankind probably will). Seems a little silly for sure, but I think it's consistent with her character. Was there rationale on why she couldn't use it on animals?



Also she really reminds me of Hohenheim from FMAB. Really like her character.

kanna's mom back in the days went to all the wrong people to stop the beginning of friend, and using herself as a human test is something she would do..

This is exactly what I think people are missing in this thread. Years of intense guilt has made her a little unstable

                        Decent chapter about some back story. I have a hard time believing that Kiriko got together with Fukebei. Don't know why, but it's just hard for me to believe. Guess I'll need to see how they met when they were even younger.
