Ok I made too much of a critical take last chapter when I mentioned that repeating "You're Kenji, right?" was unnecessary. Because NOW we have actual confirmation from the man himself that that man is in fact Kenji. Not Yabuki Joe, not an imposter, just Kenji Endo. Unlike Fukubei who hid behind a mask and has underlings impersonate him, Kenji is a one man band that uses help from people he's built relationships with and is close to to go against those that are evil. It was a good suspenseful yet dynamic move on Urasawa's part :)
