Its crazy how they found the book that has been there for decades and have a connection of time..

Don't get me wrong, I love this story so far, but I think that these "fateful days that we all are dreading just so happen to coincidentally be today" theme is a biiiiit too repetitive. I do think it accelerates the story which I'm not mad at.

They sure are lucky to find it on time.

Still curious what donkey saw there

How were they having a hard time finding some old books? I mean school libraries should contain classics ... hell we had books that were re-typed from the 1800's as well as original copies of 1920 books.

If i had a nickel for every story written by Ursawa that had a main character tirelessly examine old books in the middle of the night, I would have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it is weird that it happened twice.

It's not like there haven't been other convenient scenarios, I feel like this one is just waaaaaaaaay too convenient to overlook.

There are 16,437-16,801 days since the estimated time the memo was written and these two just conveniently came at the perfect time

Nice reference to Stephen King. The manga itself seems to borrow some concepts from King's works. Get a lot of Stand by Me/The Body and IT vibes.

Love Urasawa's proficiency in revisiting the story to fill in the narrative without losing any momentum or becoming muddled.

A bit of a stretch for them to be there the very night all this is going down.

Curious mention of Stephen King and the second parts... That's how they discovered the book.

So there's someone in the lab at the time...
