Poor Donkey, he reminded me about a friend from my elementary school who drop out because of bullies, don't know how's he doing these days...

Wow, looking back I'm surprised how early on Katsumata is mentioned in the story.  
It's also interesting how everyone remembers him even though Katsumata is supposed to be like an "invisible child."
