Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou Chapter 21 Discussion

Did he shave, or was that a flashback? I wonder what Misago has to do with the creepy statue. The ending was cute and I liked the two last pages.

                The Water God reminded me Alpha's face!

And... I'd like to see something/somebody like that in real life.

That is strange. First time he appeared he didn't have a beard, right? Then when he met Alpha, he was bearded, but now, he was shaved. Flashback? Timey wimey wibbly wobbly stuff?



If that statue is somehow Alpha, then that might start to explain why this series is tagged as a drama. So far it has been a (very) cute slice of life about a robot girl that is more of a human than anything else.



By the way, is it just me or did Takahiro look older in the last page?

Some interesting notions in this chapter. First, Ayase seems to at least meet Alpha's owner Haseno at one time. Second is the similarity between the water god, Misago and of course Alpha herself. I had some thoughts that Misago was a robot of som kind when she appeared and this chapter strengthened those theories.



Still, it's relaxing as always.

i thought it was just a sculpture at first until they said that it had brain waves and being alive.

and now they're implying that the misago has something to do with this... something's up
