I expect to be disappointed by the final chapter, but I can hope.

How on earth can they wrap everything up with the next chapter?

I agree, a chapter is very little you finish the story, even so I expect a good ending. ^^

That chapter did NOT have to be 27 pages, it was mostly black backgrounds... I remember when you could read xxxHoLiC and you might leave with a better understanding of things philosophical or spiritual in nature; whatever happened to that? In any case, I'm glad it's ending soon, CLAMP really dropped the ball hard when they transitioned into Rou.

But I knew it since the first moment I saw Yuuko holding a caged black Butterfly -her common and signature symbol- on the cover that it'd be a meaningful and interesting chapter. But really more than surprised I was laughing at the fact that they kept us showing similar scenes and then in the next page they showed us Wata and Doumeki talking with each other and enjoying a meal xD



Well I can't complain a lot since the last page had Yuuko on it. she appeared again after ages ago!, and like Jun- said maybe that's what will happen in the next chapter and at the ending, but I can't be more pissed since they wasted the few last months in the mess of Japanese Folklore and Culture, which is fun to see and interesting to appreciate how they experience their own customs and culture, but leaving there the development of characters like Himawari or giving little paneltime to Kohane...



Maybe we'll see a 60 page-long chapter next time, me definitely dunno how will they tie up all this mess they left since TRC ended...
