XXXHOLiC Chapter 152 Discussion

CLAMP could have combined a whole bunch of chapters. Both TRC and xxxholic have rather short chapters that drag the same thing on too long lately. (Do the OVAs have anything to do with it?)
The rather short chapters contribute to the fact that TRC comes out (generally) every week. Thus, it would have shorter chapters than a manga that is released bi-weekly or monthly. It is just in the last year that xxxHolic has become really sporadic, and this is likely due to the fact that it needs TRC to catch up before the story will be completed (as can be seen with the increasing appearances of TRC characters in xxxHolic chapters, and visa versa).
As for the story dragging on in TRC specifically, as I said in chapter 185 thread, Ohkawa has been feeling poorly the last few weeks, so we should be happy we're getting chapters at all :) They also pushed an xxxHolic release earlier than it should have been, so... lucky ^^

Yay~ Watanuki saved Kohane-chan! And Doumeki kept the mother from slapping Watanuki a second time, heh. Looks like this arc is drawing to a close... what will happen with Kohane-chan, I wonder...?
It was a short chapter, but awesome. I loved it. :D
