Gotta admit the "He's the closest thing to a best friend" was pretty nice ^^;

I find Sasuke to be very boring and rather flat because if Itachi didn't existence he would lose 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of his character.

i was starting to think sasuke didn't know naruto was his best friend.



looks like the final battle is about to begin i'll take a guess and say it will end in about 10-30 chapters

Wow, what a chapter. Sasuke has become such an entertaining character, I'm a big fan of the Naruto vs Sasuke ending like which we got in part 1. Seeing Sasuke and Naruto's different philosophies on what it means to be Hokage is very interesting to see. Great chapter, I loved Sasuke acknowledging that Naruto is his best friend and it makes sense as to when he said he has to sever his past I remember him saying something about wanting to be the one to sever the past or something like that a little after he turned good. Sasuke has become very entertaining and interesting. The battle will finally start! This is probably one of the best Naruto chapters this year and the last few chapters have been very entertaining ever since the Kaguya fight has ended. Either way, it's going to be an exciting trip to the ending and I can't wait! 5/5 for this chapter and for the Naruto vs Sasuke final fight.

I actually kinda thought he was crazy for saying that he wanted to be hokage and stuff since he has no chance of becoming a leader via democratic processes any more. A violent takeover is the only way.
