I think that for Madara to die this way is just stupid...

But Kaguya seems to a nice villian, and showing that the Byakugan its the first eye power (but we already knew tah from before)

People you need to remember that the 4 Hokages are not afected by the Infinite Tsukiomi so maybe they can be of a little help, and that TenTen droped that two sealing pots from the Hidden Cloud.

And I think that Naruto and Sasuke don't really know how to use their powers properly, so maybe they can still learn something new thats not a rasengan or a susano...

Let's see if Kishi will go the long way and things right for a change or just will give them a new power up and solve it that way...

At this point, considering the fact that we know next to nothing about her, that theory might be a bit far-fetched. But I was thinking something similar. What really motivates Kaguya to do all this? The Infinite Tsukuyomi? All these soldiers (Zetsus) that she is preparing for something, even the Chakra fruit. Why did she eat it? What's driving her to do all this?

Kaguya really doesn't have any need for soldiers to fight for her. Madara was pretty much invincible and it's been made clear so far that she is on a WHOLE new level when it comes to power. So that rules out the possibility that she's cultivating soldiers for violent purposes. While reading the chapter, I recalled how Hagoromo stated that she was from a faraway land and that she wasn't originally from the Shinobi world. And this is where I thought of something. What if her old civilization was destroyed....or something along those lines and she came to this world, to eat the Chakra fruit and recreate that old civilization, or at least a similar one. Her and Madara's dreams were similar in the fact that they both wanted to create a perfect world, but her reasons maybe more legitimate than his. I don't know if you noticed, but in this chapter she said a particular comment that caught my attention. She used the word "Nursery" when describing the place they were in and said she didn't want to destroy the land any further.

That doesn't seem like a person who is raising an army, it seems like someone raising a family. Furthermore, she's collecting and absorbing everyone's Chakra so this would mean she's planning something on a large scale....kinda like the Edo tensei where you need the genetic data of a person as well as Chakra to revive them. I don't know....I'm just speculating here, but a very much recurring theme in Naruto has been cultivating and making a better world for the newer generation, that's the reason why people like Minato, Jiraiya, Sarutobi and Itachi all died, by sacrificing themselves for the newer generations to live more peacefully. Kaguya might be up to the opposite here since she is the antagonist, She wants to sacrifice everyone for her old world, and to recreate that world she needed the fruit, tremendous amounts of chakra and a lot of time, which may explain why she was quiet all this time inside Zetsu. In a way she's similar to Sasuke, they're both stuck in the past. If her, Naruto and Sasuke have a conversation sometime about the world and all their individual motivations, it should definitely prove interesting.

That actually makes a lot of sense. But the soldiers bit is still throwing me off because of how it's stated by Black Zetsu that they will be soldiers for battle. But then he does say the transformation in White Zetsus happens slowly over time, so it won't be right away, or at least that's what I'm understanding. If, going by your theory, she creates this world she wants to create, perhaps if there's some kind of need for militant powers, that's what they'll be for? If she doesn't want to do some things for herself...?  Maybe...?

I don't know...

I don't even know what to think anymore.... I'm so confused. ಠ_ಠ

I hope we get answers in about like the next few weeks or so...

Absolutely terrible chapter. This chapter completely ruins Madara as a villain because it makes him nothing but a pawn that was manipulated just like Obito. White zetsus earlier in the series were said to be imperfect clones of the first hokage but now all of a sudden they are related to the Infinite Tsukuyomi. This reveal makes it predictable how the fight will end. Sasuke and Naruto will most likely fuse together and become the sage of the 6 paths the same way Madara and Black Zetsu fused to become Kaguya and he will take her down.

Maybe that is all he was. A pawn, but an incredible one at that.

It was said before that those clones were made from Hashirama cells but who knows if it was a lie. We don't know for certain if it's the truth. Maybe all this time they were somehow related to the infinite tsukuyomi. Maybe in future chapters we get further explanations. The manga is coming to its end, and I don't think Kishi wants his manga to end with plot holes. lol I really hope so. He really needs to fully explain everything in the coming chapters because the reveal made no kind of sense. The white zetsus being imperfect clones of Hashirama made perfect sense considering they are plant like, when Orochimaru took over one of the white zetsus 2nd hokage if I remember correctly could sense that Orochimaru was made up of  the 1st hokage's cells and  Tobi implied that first Hokage cells were used to create the zetsu army considering he showed Kabuto the cultivation of Hashirama's cells which looks like a humanoid version of him connected to the tree. White zetsus being connected to the infinite tsukuyomi to me makes no sense at all.

You're forgetting the fact that Hashirama's power and cells originated from the God-tree. He is a descendent of Hagoromo, who is the son of Kaguya, who in turn ate the Chakra fruit from the Shinju. Furthermore, he is also one of the reincarnations Ashura's will transmigrated to overtime. Added to the fact that the Shinju as well as the Infinite Tsukuyomi are pretty much linked, it makes perfect sense. It's quite obvious that the Zetsu predated both Madara and Hashirama. Obito...or Madara or whoever created them just used a shortcut by taking advantage of Hashirama's mokuton abilities and harvesting them like that. Or else they would have had to wait until they pulled of the genjutsu to use the Zetsu. All in all, it makes perfect sense. All ninjas would have gotten their power from the God tree. If humans can be turned into white zetsus then why didn't Madara turn the ninja alliance (Naruto and Sasuke included)into white zetsus so as to allow the plan to go smoothly without interruption?

Naruto and Sasuke aren't under the Mugen Tsukuyomi, so how would he be able to? Also, something tells me Madara was just winging it when he started things up, but Kaguya actually seems to be proficient in controlling people through the jutsu. I'm talking about before he launched mugen tsukuyomi. Also concerning your previous point about  1st hokage being Ashura's reincarnation. Naruto is also Ashura's reincarnation so why didn't  Tobi ever think about using Naruto's cells to create more zetsus?

One can only turn into Zetsu when they are under the influence of the genjutsu. I thought that much was clear. An even then, it's a gradual process.

Because Naruto doesn't have Mokuton abilities, another thing that should have been obvious. You need the Wood style to create Zetsu, not just any random cells.  The only similarity between the two is that they're both reincarnations of him due to their shared beliefs. Kishimoto will have to explain that because I don't get why humans can only be turned into white zetsus if they are under the mugen tsukuyomi. That's my point that it made sense when it was first stated that zetsus were imperfect clones of Harashima. You need his cells specifically or someone with his cells (Yamato) to create them.

Once you connect all the dots, it's entirely fathomable, for the most part anyway. It all links back to the Juubi tree. Hashirama's abilities are just a variation of the tree, the Zetsus are originally just productions of the tree. Tobi and Madara just took a shortcut by harvesting them through Yamato and Hashirama's cells since it was the closest they could get to the tree. So why does only Hashirama have abilities that are linked to the Juubi tree?

I think I have a theory with regards to Kaguya and why she would want soldiers. It might be kinda insane, that’s where this manga is right now, yes?

- - -

So, it’s stated by Black Zetsu that Kaguya wants soldiers. But for what? Apparently everyone in the world is trapped in the genjutsu, so who is there to fight?! After having read the chapter on a website I usually read from, I was looking through the comments, some of which were people jokingly (or maybe not?) saying that Kaguya was going to wage interplanetary war. This is obviously coming from when Naruto had spoken with the SOSP, when Naruto had asked if he was some kind of alien, with the Sage replying that he wasn’t too far from the truth.

This made me recall about “The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter,” which is obviously where Kaguya is coming from, with Kishi’s love of incorporating Japanese myths and folklores in this story. If you don’t know the story read here for a summary:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tale_of_the_Bamboo_Cutter#Narrative

So, Kaguya in “The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter” was a celestial maiden from the Moon. If this is has been incorporated into “Naruto,” this might explain that alien comment. Another thing to possibly note is that when Naruto questioned where Kaguya had come from, the Sage refused to answer. It’s only hinted she’s from a faraway place.

Going back to "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter", quoting the Wikipedia page, it’s said “in some versions of this tale, it is said that she was sent to the Earth as a temporary punishment for some crime, while others say it was for safety during a celestial war…” For “Naruto,” let’s focus on the former.

Now, we return to the question: what exactly does Kaguya need soldiers for? If Kishi incorporates the fact that Kaguya did indeed come from the Moon (and was perhaps sent down as a punishment), does she want to wage war on the Moon people?

- - -

TO SUMMARIZE, Kaguya is from the Moon, she was banished maybe, and she wants to wage war with Moon people using humans turned into White Zetsus to fight.

I honestly have no idea. I could be so dead wrong about this. Again, the theory is kind of insane, but it’s just what came to my mind.

At this point, considering the fact that we know next to nothing about her, that theory might be a bit far-fetched. But I was thinking something similar. What really motivates Kaguya to do all this? Her quote about the battlefield being a nursery might have been her using the shinobi alliance to re-create her people. If such is true then she still needs to be stopped. But this does make your speculation valid in the fact that she's trying to revive her own civilization. Her eye powers and her connection to the moon though still poses questions that we have no answers to. So until she reveals more of her intentions we'll be in the dark.
