I was expecting something more of Naruto that will change Sasuke, but things turn rather unexpected, I actually liked the chapter, but the sudden change to Sasuke was quite indifferent, even if he did join the fray, the Alliance wont acknowledge him unless he does something.



My prediction would be, he either, give up his life to do something big in the war for atonement, OR he lives and be a lone wolf like Jiraiya.



Other than that, things are going really exciting, not only Sasuke will join in the war but so as the 4 Hokages!

Fuck yeah. I've never been more pumped up for a Naruto chapter as I am for the next one. Wait, I don't think I've ever been more pumped up for a chapter of any manga as I am for the next. Sure, the Sasuke twist was weak. It completely destroyed his character, which I loved to trash on just to anger Sasuke fangirls. Well, I don't think he's turned completely. I still think he's gonna fight Naruto. The question is, why? What will be the reason for fighting Naruto?

Finally 4 kage will fight!

Pain vs Konoha was the climax, everything went downhill from there.

HOHOHO. Sasuke finally going back on the bright side. I still expect a Naruto VS Sasuke battle but a friendly bro fight. :P

God, I hate this whole predictable subplot and the entire Uchiha clan. This is awful writing and you should feel bad about it, Kishi.

Seems like you and I are about the only people feeling that way if I look at the people that replied. I'm not nearly as excited to see how things will unfold. This whole so-called "plottwist" was worthless, and, as you already said, predictable.

Why not have him stay evil and have at least one character that isn't good, but actually wants to destroy something... Not even Madara is spared from this retarded sense of justice everyone seems to have in this manga. Please bring on the conclusion already... >_>"

That being said, maybe the upcoming fights can redeem this whole thing a bit.

I really liked the chapter, however, I think the battle will not be that exciting since from one side we have: Kurama, eight tails, Naruto, Minato(already beat Obito), Hashirama(who already beat Madara), Tobirama, third hokage, Sasuke, Orochimaru etc.  VS  Madara, Obito, ten tails... It is totally favorable to one side.  Don't see how Madara, Obito, ten tails team can beat those guys, unless Kishi shows an extremely powerful ten tails on next chapter, or someone we haven't seen appear on their side, cause on all the shinobis I have seen, don't know of one that can beat those guys(Hashi, Tobi, third, Minato, etc. etc).  How will you balance this Kishi?

What kind of Deus ex Machina bullshit was that?

Now, don't give me wrong, I'm am so GLAD that kishimoto isn't dragging out Sasuke's   "Im going to destroy the whole village" thing.What I don't get is all of a sudden he decides not to and EVERYONE is on his side? he went rogue for fucks sake. Which was supposed to be a taboo remember?  Sasuke didnt even get a slap on the wrist for it. But even that I understand a little. Theyre in the middle of a war,he was young, loved his brother and all that good stuff. OK FINE, hes forgiven.  But then Orochimaru, THE Orochimaru,  decides to switch sides as their "ally" and they're completely okay with that too. We're talking about the same guy who lived in a fortress for years, conducting unspeakable experiments, using forbidden jutsus on a daily basis, was apart of the akatsuki, and plotted to destroy the village himself. Which one of them brings up and everyone just laughs it off like its no big deal. Frankly, if it were me, I wouldnt trust him. Orochimaru was a great villian, but as a good guy? No. I  just don't think its very plausible based on the past chapters. I feel like someone is going to get betrayed real soon.

Besides that, i'm looking forward to these boss battles between the hokages, madara and obito. And I didnt mind that history lesson. The story is finally moving forward.
