It only has a time limit in the sense that Kenny's body isn't yet strong enough to handle it though, were he I didn't get the impression there's a timer like with Hitsugaya's petals or anything like that.

Nah, some editor on another forum made it.

So Zaraki needs that 10 years practice if he is to handle his bankai it seems and maybe another 10 years to master it, lol. All the training he did until now was only enough to make him handle the shikai.

It was enough. Kenpachi lost to himself. His body started collapsing because of too much power unleashed. When his arm broke was because of his own power, it wasn't a hit from the giant.

I really liked this chapter. The last page is completely ridiculous, it was just awesome. I like that when we learn more about characters and their interactions they are drawn from new angles, like it was with Nemu and now with Yachiru. So I think now we will learn more about Kenpachi, Yachiru and Hitsugaya. At last Hitsugaya will have some development, he was becoming way too static and useless.



Also I don't understand why so many people disliked this chapter. If you look from the point of view of "asspulls", you'll be disappointed, because they are everywhere, not only in shounen, not only in manga, but also in almost all other works of fiction. Any plot twist or plot device can be considered an "asspull". But it doesn't mean that it can't be enjoyable to read.

I know I am a few days late reading this chapter.

I am a big fan of Toshiro's so when I first saw that picture, I thought it was Fan art then I read that chapter and I was really surprised. So I have mix feelings about what happen with Toshiro. I am wondering is this a permanent or will he turn back to child after the fight. Is it just me or was Byakuya a little surprised about what Toshiro looked like, maybe know one knew he would look like that when he is at full power. I am hopping Toshiro will be able to stop Gerard.

I know a lot of Zaraki fans were upset cause that was Zaraki's fight but hopefully there will be someone else for Zaraki to fight and be able to use all of his Bankia's power when he does.
