Nanagou apparently means 75. That means this could be the 75th Nemu clone. This could be hinting at Mayuri's backstory:



-his daughter died

-he tries his best to revive her but keeps failing

-these failures result in his drastic change in personality, becoming who he is today

-then the central 46 locked him into the Maggot's Nest



His Zanpaktou being themed after a drowned baby is symbolic of how he failed to save his daughter's life.



Now, the significance of Mayuri's quote: "Do you know how difficult it would be to raise the 'next you'..." He was unsuccessful at making a creation that had a will of its own, and now he was finally successful. His daughter was finally reborn, or at least that's my own take on it lol. If Nemu were to die again, Mayuri would most likely be back to square one (being unable to create something that has a will of its own). Imagine that, the limits of Mayuri's technology.



Speak shit about Bleach all you want, but any scene with Mayuri involved is badass. It would be an absolute shame if he were to die now.





The Baby thing makes sense, but i'm not entirely convinced on nemu being his daughter. If that were true, then chapter 306 would be a lot worse than it already is. For now, i just think that Nemu is a genetically created shinigami that Mayuri just grew attached to.

The incredibly boring filler fight continues....again....for the sixth chapter....and still isn't over.



A secondary character like Mayuri fighting an arm, that's exactly what was needed to get Bleach out of it's rut.

Poor Nemu, I hope she won't be sacrificed.

I don't see what's surprising if the soul king happened to be a quincy, after all we barely knew anything behind the guy in the crystal. I'm thinking that he was someone like bach, however was sealed somehow but both of his hands escaped, they managed to seal one inside that guy and the other one fled to the quicys.

The Nemu we are currently seeing is 7th.

This Ark has been filled with filler unfortunately, and is probably the worst one so far. How the hell can he waste another 6, probable another 2-3 to finish it, with this?

Please, Mayuri is the only good thing that left in the Bleach, so his fights are the only ones that actually worth reading.
