No, he is (was?) a sternritter and right now he's fused with the soul king's arm I think? We didn't really see him fight and we don't even know what his powers are about.

So, whats next? Big leg?

Well that was very weird. I guess we'll now get to find out some of the history of the Soul KIng and how he lost his arms. I'm just glad that wasn't Yachiru.

-Kenpachi didn't rush in cause he's an idiot but cause he was goated by mayuri, brings his previous performance last chapter into a different light.

-Mayuri's saying about improving his zanpukato is a notch to his earlier speech about perfection against Szayel.

-Nemu's look at Mayuri might mean a potential backstory for them?

-Mayuri took out a sentient umbrella and used it as a sacrifice,smart considering the nerve powers.

-Mayuri saying about victories built atop of sacrifices will be essential in this fight and maybe the rest as well.

-Nemu and the others will definitely sacrifice themselves somehow, considering mayuri's whole sacrifice motif.

-The left arm of the soul king has chains around it signifying yhwach has tamed it.

-Yhwach has deemed the left arm of the soul king as inferior ,maybe it represents hollow and wouldn't mix with yhwach.

-2 pupils? does Pernida have the the Al Mighty?

-How it looked at mayuri at the end might be it activating it's all mighty power, does it see it's own death? what will do if it does?

-Mutiple limbs of course might mean a chimera creature at the end of the sternritter fights, will most likely act as a deterrent to stall the gotei so yhwach can sleep or power up.
