The hogyoku affects causality based on it's will and the will of others and the Soul King and Yhwach can see the future. I would almost think about it but this was already done in the SS arc. I finished marathoning this series a while ago, and I just realized the importance of Ukitake on that lotus-like shrine. I wish he survives - I'm starting to get invested with this series again after dropping it because of that potential Ukitake (as well as Kyoraku's) bankai though.



Really hoping for an Aizen color spread next week...

Ukitake's background story reminded me Princess Yue of Northern Water Tribe from Last Airbender. There's a guy from previous chapter discussion thread predicted that Ukitake will be a substitute for Soul King. I mean, how could you guys do that?
