Bleach Chapter 610 Discussion

Yhwach just destroyed that monk! Poor dude, I was starting to like him. Guess it's on to the next one for his majesty.

To the ones who are in denial about the crappiness of the last 2 chapters.



Fights/Battles/Action is about motion. When there is no motion it's not a proper fight. Hence why Action mangas(and not) that have no "magic" can in fact be enjoyable.



Special attacks a la Kamehameha are introduced to enrich the action taking place beyond punches and kicks. It still is and always will be about motion.



Special effects like "Almighty" and "Control of all blackness" are there for further enrichment as well as the addition of strategy and POTENTIALLY a plot twist. Plot twists in general do not belong in a fight. It still is and will always be about motion.



See for yourself: compare the ratings here in MAL between chaps 605-607 and 609-610. It's not a matter of hating. It's a matter of Bleach going against it's very nature as an action manga, just standing there pretending to be cool. That's just plain hype mixed in a predicatble pattern of "I've been holding back" or "I have yet to unleash my final transformation".
