Shitty chapter as always, except the last page. Man, Kubo really needs to pick the pacing up or the ratings will further go down. The girls arguing for some pages was a waste of panels. Kubo could well show the Sternritter's attacks with Ichigo defending in one single page, using a double spread or something.

One Piece along with the fights, has so much text and plot in one chapter. Naruto is pretty decent in terms of plot too. Bleach has been sucking so bad this arc. The start looked promising.

1/5

Why does most of the fandom still read bleach anyway if everyone is just f*cking complaining about every single chapter!?

It is kubo we are talking about, he always advanced his story through pictures and not dialogues, and this is ichigos first fight in which he doesn't even need to use half of his power and people are ALLREADY complaining that he has no "new" attacks, seriously?!

The Bleach fanbase is just stupid and impatiant.

Why am I still reading bleach is what i want to know too. I was once a bleach fan. I don't know why, ever since aizen's arc, Bleach keep disappoint me again and again. Bad script, storyline, etc. It doesn't excite me anymore.

I am just expressing my disappointment. Maybe the reason I am still reading bleach is that I once liked bleach.

Not really impressed by Ichigo's new powers so far... But you can't say much, because nothing special happened. Well, let's just wait for a good opponent.

Years pass and people still complain about "pacing" failing to comprehend that Kubo draws his manga less like a manga and more like episode storyboard sequenced scene by scene - usual manga panels skip around, but Kubo portrays every single scene change. With more movement detail - what usual mangaka might portay in couple of panels with movement lines, Kubo draws sequence by sequence. resulting in far more visually pleasing and stylish battle panels.

Now, second point - People keep whining about Ichigo's GT and how he "has one attack", but that's bullshit - he has(had) one "technique" not an attack - HOW he uses it varies - through the manga we saw him do usual "slashes", but we also saw him be creative with how GT is uses, both close and long-range.

IT fits the whole "ancient swordsmen of japan" theme, since usually you had the said warriors spend their lives perfecting one or two styles to oblivion.

His new attack is metaphorically fitting - its white and its in form of a cross - a symbol associated with quincies. Essentially, His new attack is his "quincy equivalent" of GT, symbolizing the unison of mastery of both sides of powers.

Not to mention that those who paid attention noticed that even his GT tech is different - he fires it differently, its no longer "Thrown" and it starts with weird dimensional rip that he draws with his sword. In the way it is fired reminds of cero, showcasing the perfect unison of his two parts of him(Quincy and Shinigami), influenced by his hollow energy(the way it is fired), with fullbring, being his armor.

Ichigo now has precision in his attacks, variety in how he uses his techniques and as shown in this chapter, he uses his powers specifically as needed, instead of just throwing everything in one direction, which implies mostly total control over his reiatsu.

And I really doubt that's all he is got considering he just countered her strongest attack with a microscopic size GT and looks completely bored out of his mind.

short chapter, ended too soon, there was almost nothing, what's the point of Kobo..

I read it in 3 minutes

you have to get used to it by now, Tite Kubo do not know fast pace story telling at all

A manga is not only about the story but also about how its portrayed. You are following "BLEACH" which is known for its cinematic approach to battles and for its emphasis on style. You really shouldn't be complaining about pacing when it's a known fact about Bleach ever since it reached year 3 (2004).

If Ichigo's previous release was fake to begin with, then why he still has his Getsuga Tenshou as the main attack? Wasn't that fake too?

Lmao, best part was when Candice said "his majesty is sure to grant me anything I desire!", Meninas and Liltotto thought of extravagent things... but Giselle had just a black screen.

I notice that people are complaining about Naruto and Bleach a lot lately, saying they've declined in quality or whatever. I looked back on some of the older chapters and actually found them quite similar to the newer ones. I think the reason people are complaining is because the story hasn't changed enough and the fans are just getting tired of their regular flow. That's my theory anyways.Well... yeah... that's one of the main issues everyone has. This arc is not anything new... it's the exact same thing as the Aizen arc was. It's just a large group of people with random powers without any consistency to them, that were all given their powers by their great and all-powerful leader that doesn't actually care about them. It's just a rehash.

It still has it's moments, but recent events in the series have been rather dull. And there are a number of other problems as well. He's constantly getting more and more lazy with his drawings it seems like. It's rare that you see any detail whatsoever, aside from the characters themselves. And sure that's not a huge deal to many people... but it's amplified when each chapter nothing is even happening.

The pacing was never as bad as it is now. In old chapters you had multiple things going on at once, with a steady flow that actually made sense. For example the fight against Szayelaporro and the fight against Nnoitra both (and then later the fight against Zommari as well) took place side by side. Now it's gotten to where we see one event at a time... and when that one's finished it goes to the next fight, and we're only getting tiny glimpses of anything else that is going on simultaneously without any of it having any real meaning until the main bits have happened and then we get our little focus on that part.

The biggest problem now is just that there have been a lot of chapters this arc that have been nothing but maybe 5 words and then someone slashing their sword... only to be followed by the same thing the next chapter... and then the next one, and basically the only changes are the occasional "Oh, yeah I wasn't using my full power, I've got a hidden move that I've never used before." followed by their opponent doing the same thing.

The only real thing keeping most older fans around is the anticipation of seeing the things that have been set up / foreshadowed for a long time. Like certain character's bankais or finding out what happened to other characters (like Grimmjow and Harribel).
