Hopefully it's something good.

Some people just cannot be pleased atm, complaining captains getting one shotted and the fights being crappy short fights, and now that there's been are few fights that a several chapters long involving some of the more important characters, people are just waiting for the next fight because it's been going on too long... What do some of you really want?

people just like to bitch. they got nothing better to do then hate on an anime. alot of it is the same people bitching every week.

they literally read bleach just so they have something to bitch about.

what other reason could there be for people to read something they hate.

bleach seams to take alot of flak even more then naruto.

its really sad honestly, i would like to have a discussion about bleach without hearing everyone's petty complaints.

but whatever haters gonna hate so its better to just ignore them

The fact that Bleach receives a lot more hate now compared to it's former glory times, is not because now people suddenly like to hate on it. There has to be a reason why people dislike it so much more now and the reason is, Bleach went from a pretty good shounen manga to... THIS. The storytelling is terrible, every arc follows exactly the same forseeable formular, the power-levels are rediculous, the story is full of plot-holes (therefore all these logic-arguments) and this manga has established way too many pseudo-main characters who all receive too much attention effectively stealing the spot light from the main character who needs to stand out even MORE to be able to be recognizable as the main character. And these are just some of the most prominent problems Bleach suffers from.

The world in Bleach used to follow certain rules, but these rules are overritten or just ignored all the time to the point that you sometimes begin to wonder if the author himself did that on purpose, or just forgot what he had established a few years ago. The most interesting part of Bleach in the past year was the backstory of Isshin, Ishida and Masaki, because in those chapters we saw progression and were given legit answers and useful information. This little piece of backstory is more interesting than the current events taking place in the manga. This is alarmingly sad.

Yes, people complain about the fights. And here's the reason: jump in power and all the strong Shinigmai are suddenly way too weak and get slain one after another. Boring! Two chapter and a bit of training later - every remotely popular or somehwat important character, and Bleach has way too many of those, is now freakishly strong and needs weeks after weeks to lay out his newly established powers. This is also boring. It doesn't help the overall storytelling has slowed down a lot and these fights could have been over much faster, if the storytelling wouldn't be this painfully slow. Hence, people complain the fights are too long, because week after week barely anything happens in the ongoing fights. I remember in Hueco Muno when Kenpachi was fighting there was one chapter where one strike was made and the rest of the entire chapter was just talking. I don't want to see them talk for hours, I want to see them fight.

And don't let me begin about the characters and their personalities and character development, or characters that were formlery main cast and have now completely vanished, because they're essentially entirely useless now.

I personally think many former fans may be just very disappointed by Bleach. They don't read this manga to hate it, they read it, because they formerly liked it and may hope this manga will at least end on a high note. They want to see how it ends, but the road to this end is just so painfully disappointing.

I like to end what I started, that's the reason why I still read it and I usually just try to ignore the bad chapters, therefore most of them, but reading the chapter discussions is a bad idea in my case, I admit that.

Perfectly explained. Hella thumbs up man :]

In a fiction work, everything can happen. You can change phycic law. You can change logic. You can create anything.

If you want to think about logic, here's a question:

DOES SHINIGAMI EVEN EXIST IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Love this chapter 5/5

Haters, go AWAY... please

.... i really cba cause I'm 100% you have no idea what logic even means and/or how 'logical sense" is used in the context of Bleach/fiction. So again, move on pls.

If Kubo want to create... let say Kubo's law. Can you even argue about it?

if you keep feeding the trolls they will never go away >.<

Alright guys... i may have come off seemingly harsh on Rukia's bankai itself.... look, I don't actually hate the fact Rukia got a ban kai (ok maybe slightly), and I don't actually hate Rukia. But in the end, she was always gonna get a bankai seeing as she's a main character due for a real heavy powerup, and hey, with Kubo's art her bankai has real strong potential to looking cool ne :]

But my real issues were on the when and how of her getting bankai and what really gets to me is like what kennikitty mentioned: Bleach used to be such a great manga that had a really interesting sense to it's verse with all the villain powers, hero powerups, ranks, mystery powers and all that. I just find that the current state of the Bleach verse has really REALLY fallen low with how Kubo has taken things and tbh, it's just real.... shitty... :/

Byakuya spread his senbonzakura around the place so the fear no longer works and rukia's fear is gone since her brother acknowledged her, that was her anxiety that led to the fear.

When you face a fear head on once the next time it won't be that fearful or you get over it.

Rukia's bankai translates roughly into Bleached Reproach :)

Rukia got her bankai thru nothing but plotkai and BS shortcuts that can make no sense at all except foooor: OVER 9000 deus ex powerups!!

Well, this is actually my main complain about this entire arc. This one or two years time skip happend and suddenly everyone's power-level is completely off the charts. I didn't even realize I completely brushed this 10-year rule to achieve bankai away, because Bankai seems to be the standart by now anyway. I mean, many non-captains have achieved Bankai: Renji, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Sasakibe, most of the Vaizard, now Rukia and of course Ichigo. Bankai is not an exception that is reserved for captain level shinigami anymore, it's standart procedure, because the overall power level in Bleach has become rediculously high.

The thing that really bugs me is: Soul Society has existed a very, very long time, Rukia herself said she's several hundred years old and in all this time, it was never necessary or it has never occured to someone to train for a short one or two years and become strong enough to deal with potentially high leveled danger. I mean, the sheer fact that the power levels rose this high in such a short amount of time, leaves me in disbelieve Shimigami even bothered seriously training before.

If we compare the power-level of the captains, the strongest Shinigami there are, from the beginning of the manga to now, just mere 3 years later, the jump in strenght is unbelievable. I know I'm trying to make sense out of a power shounen manga, but I just can't believe how fast and easily Shinigami have sudenly become stronger, when centuries have passed where apparently such a power-level was completely unecessary and nobody bothered training themselves to their full potential. And we're talking about the same people that were in charge centuries ago, because Shinigami age that slow. It's not like we have a more selected pool of stronger athletes now, no, these are the same people. Considering these people are essentially soldiers and it's their job to protect and fight, not maxing out their possibilities as far as they can go, is stupid.

Aside from all that, the one thing that really botherd me this chapter was Byakuya. Rukia has a Bankai now, so she should be able to handle this situation very well on her own, or not? However, Kubo needed to show off Byakuya and this freakish strenght, only to pass the baton back to Rukia, so she can finish that guy off with her newly optianed Bankai now? Byakuya was completely unecessary, his interference only makes Rukia look artificially weak, because even though she is capable of doing it herself, she still needs to rely on nii-sama and this is bad for her character, because even though she has always been portrayed as showing great respect towards Byakuya, before everything else, she's supposed to be a strong female lead, which has effectively now gone down the gutter.
