Good chapter, I really want to see how Rukia will defeat this guy. I hope she has achieved bankai by now.

In the last panel of the last page, Rukia looked oddly out of character. Great start...

Isane is taking care of the wounded. Somehow she manage to have a place safe enough to do the treatment. Just how many fights are taking place right now, it seems too quiet.

Kubo better not fuck over Rukia she's one of my favorite characters. I want to see her kick ass, and unleash her Bankai. Kubo normally lets his female characters kick ass, so I hope Rukia isn't an exception. Last fight she had with that Arrancar was pretty awesome, so this should be good.

Renji sleeping in the middle of enemy territory, that is gusty, or just plan stupid. I see why Nanana was so puzzled, I would also puzzled by that.



So Rukia is going to fight As Nodt, I hope she wins and as a chance to shine. But I think and am hoping I am wrong, she will put up a good fight but won't be able to win and Byakura is going to have finish the job. Because a woman winning a fight, unless your Erza Scarlet, that is unheard of in shonnen, next thing they would want the right to vote.

The first few pages felt unnecessary but overall this chapter was an improvement over last week. I'm still curious to see if Rukia learned the name of her Bankai. Hopefully the fights start moving forward now instead of being stuck on one for numerous chapters (looking at you, Mask de Masculine).
