I'm really interested to learn more about Isshin and his mother.. their past and stuff.. He's human? LOL Ichigo's like everything.

Ever since he was a child he was always fighting with his zanpakutou in shikai form, as we saw in unohanas flashback of their first meeting. So he wasnt only fighting with his own strength, he also had the added bonus of shikai. Dont know what the bonus was, and its definitely not the same communion ichigo has with zangetsu (when they lent eachother power to defeat Zaraki) but im pretty sure it boosts his power. Else shikai would be utterly useless.

And what makes it worse is that right before the fight kyoraku made it seem like kenpachi's major flaw was his lack of training, but instead of giving him that training kubo instead makes up this barely believable flashback about him being born more powerful than an elite captain.

Err no, if they reforge his Bankai and send him off then he'll just break his Bankai again. You're obviously missing the entire point of this.  Ouetsu's training is just to help them strengthen their bond with their Zanpakutou's. The Asauchi would only accept Ichigo when they know they can trust him.



Also, Ichigo and Renji have yet to visit the other 2 palaces. So there training isn't done even after they reforge their Zanpakutou's.

Will Zaraki's Zanpakutou be Ichigo or Zangetsu?

I actually liked this chapter. I'm actually surprised that Ichigo failed his training and Renji passed, I thought they  were going to pass and move onto the next are or something.



Damn, I WANT TO KNOW THE ZANPAKUTOU'S NAME!

If Unohana died, why Byakuya can't die? Darn.



Anyways, Kenpachi is gonna roflstomp those filthy quincies now. Can't wait to see it.



And I wonder what will happen to Ichigo now.
