He probably is. He is apart of the Gotei 13 after all and they did say that they were more powerful then the Gotei 13 combined.



That's probably why they barely came now. Yamamoto was like the "final defense" for the soul society, so as long as he lived the Zero squad had no reason to come and help. Once he died, poof, Zero Squad jumps in to save the day as a last resort.



If they were weaker then they should have gone in first before Yamamoto went all berserk and badass.

The Espada where supposed to as strong or stronger than a captain level shinigami and that's exactly what they where. Let's not forget that the top 5 where defeated in battles that where more than one on one. Hey one of them got slashed by Aizen instead of losing.

Naw they pretty much stronger than CC. He is part of the Gotei 13. Thats probably the only reason they came because he's dead.



I doubt if each one of them is stronger than the captain commander. Maybe all 5 of them together are. Don't forget that the old man could pretty much kick the ass of all the other captains together. Aizen cut the shit out of 5-6 captains in an instant and when the old man stood in-frond of him he admitted that in a straight fight he had no chance in hell.

I didn't understand it either, even after reading Mangastream's version but anyachan's explanation sounds legit, I guess the royal palace is above SS and you need to pass a gate or a layer to get there.

Zero squad looks to be a good addition that will make things interesting, then there is the question why is kon there lol ,and if that wasn't enough then there is the question as to why all of the sudden it became a good idea to remodel zangetsu.

I didn't like how they seemed so carefree and full of smiles. I would've preferred a more serious look to fit the atmosphere.
