Nice points made , though some gaps and inconsistencies here and there. Still some from the above is bound to be true (or so I think at least). Though one correction:

Noone from SS ever witnessed Isshin, ever, at least so far. Only ones that did are:

Ryuken,Urahara, Yoruichi,Ichigo, Aizen,Gin. Noone else. Edit: Ahh, yes, Kon too.

Cool chapter, I prefer that there arent many in Squad Zero though five may be a bit extreme, I hope they act more badass than they look (excluding the woman on the right) though.

Oh ok Kubo. Ichigo can never gain his powers back ever again. Uh huh, just like when he used the final Gestuga Tenshou. Whatever, see you at the next unexpected power up.

Power up ?...Read this chapter again!!!

It looks like you don't read this manga at all if you think that Ichigo is going to stay depowered till the end.

ROFL @ the fat chick on the left. Im guessing she was the captain that got promoted.

Kon's entrance was funny as all hell. (mangastream has better translations this chapter, instead of 'this cute face, this cuter face, this cuterest face!)

Poor ichigo having his bankai broken. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *points and laughs some more*... ahem... excuse me... Maybe it can't be repaired, hell find out that Zangetsu is related to Bach, and he'll use quincy powers (once he learns them) to repair it and use it like a puppet. Kinda like how ishida wound the bandages to control his arm.

On a serious note though, if ikkaku and renji's bankais were broken in their fights... what about Mayuri? Not only was his bankai broken, Ishida pretty much fucking demolished the shit out of it. In half. I can't remember much, but was mayuri's bankai any different when he faced that espada? Just because he's a captain doesn't mean he should be exempt of said rule. Unless it's because his bankai becomes a sentient being, instead of still a blade (as most are)?

Love kyouraku. Every panel of his makes me giddy with pre-pubescent excitedness. After seeing him at the end of the last chapter, realllly hoping he steps up and leads the Gotei 13. He may not think he's up for it, since he is quite laid back, but he's done pretty much nothing but quote Yamaji whenever he talks in the last few chapters. He knows Yama pretty well and how things would be run.

Also im guessing being in the Zero Squad is for life. You don't retire. If anything, id gamble that Isshin (along with Unohana) were part of the original Gotei 13 that Bach was talking about. Although that leads me to think, why wouldn't Isshin and Unohana age the same way Yamamoto did? Unless Yama is like... 3000yrs old?

3-They just don't give a shit.

Whatever happen in SS or the real world is pretty much irrevelant to them.

I like to see these guy with a big superiority complex pretty much because it would fit their appearance.

They are the noble and sacred warrior that came to this run out of the mill place to put back those insect on the path they want.

They couldn't care less about internal fighting between insects unless they might become instinct which would pretty much mess up the system the world is working with and therefore affect them.

Just like we see insect but aknowledge that our world is pretty much dependent on their existence, RG might see shinigami, human, hollow and all these matter as something similar.

They couldn't care less about Aizen meaning to come here and kill the soul king, he was still an insect that was stopped by other insects.

Except for the fact that A) They themselves used to be just shinigami at some point. So even though they are extremely overpowered captains, they are still just regular shinigami. So even if they are super cocky, they still aren't jack shit compared to FGT or Hogyoku/Aizen

B) If you think they were not sweating a transcended Aizen, then your smoking some good shit. As a matter of fact You have it backasswards. Aizen once fused with the Hogyoku looked at everyone else Including the RG and the SK as insects. If FGT would not have weakened Aizen enough for Urahara's Kido to seal him, then Aizen would have transcended Yet again, and would have been as powerful as FGT. At that point, if you think the RG would have even stood a chance against him, then you apparently don't comprehend power levels worth a shit. Both Aizen, and FGT would have massacred the RG easily. It would have been like stomping a bug for them.

I don't care how strong these RG are. Ichigo and Aizen both were sooo overpowered at that time in the manga that we won't see that sort of power level again until the final battle in Bleach, if we ever do again. None of the shinigami including Isshin could even feel his Reiatsu for fuck's sake. And that was before he transcended two more times!! Be serious.

Well, we are gonna get a proper explanation at some point that's for sure.

So let's recap.

There is the key that Aizen wanted to create, and that key opens the gate to RP. So that gate is one and only, unlike Garganta, and exists above seiretei (I presume?) and that wall is the extra protection when levitated?
