Bleach Chapter 514 Discussion

Kay so Isshin is ichigo's dad and his mom was a quincy based off what they have shown us previously in the story if his mom was Bache's daughter or had a connection to Bache in any way how did she get killed by a weak hollow like she was that Ichigo could kill while still borrowing Rukia's power.

The ending was like star wars lol "Ichigo I am your father"

This arc will be huge so don't be hasty to say that. ;) I would like to believe that but i don't think it's going to happen as it should. In light of this new revelation, I went back and checked some old chapters that might be relevant.



1) We don't see Grand Fisher kill Masaki

If it had been Grand Fisher, why didn't it eat both her and Ichigo? We're to believe it killed her, left her body, left Ichigo, and then left the scene? At the very least someone had to have interfered to make him retreat. Unlikely to have been Isshin based on his later confrontation with Grand Fisher. I guess it COULD have been Masaki herself, (We have no way of knowing her strength level) but the way she seemed to be shielding Ichigo suggests to me a last resort that still requires the presence of some outside assistance to actually defeat or deter the attacker. Unless, of course, the attacker was not a Hollow..



2) Grand Fisher didn't remember Masaki or Ichigo

It was only able to recreate Masaki's form after extracting the memory from Ichigo. This may or may not be important.



3) Isshin regrets not being able to save her - at a different time?

The translators notes here make me wonder if they were wrong to second guess Kubo like that. Perhaps there's a good reason for this seemingly inconsistent line.

mangastream version is out and ye like i speculated Ichigo is a darn power "ABSORBER" just like any other quincy, what makes Ichigo unique is the fact he can absorb core powers like Shinigami and Hollow and Fullbring and etc and this is the reason why Ichigo is like a god that have every power on this darn manga and this explains why he has getsuga tenshou like Isshin, its just a matter of revealing the exact events now lol



Juha Bach resembles old man Zangetsu too and that is not a coincidence at all

and those bankai "ABSORBING" or stealing abilities of quincies may have thesame concept (if not literally thesame) to Ichigo's unique power ABSORBING ability too

2 possible predictions of mine:



1st - Juhabach is really ichigo's father and his mother is a shinigami. Reason why quincy were slaughtered, is because juhabach created a hybrid who is more powerful than both.



2nd - Juhabach is ichigo's grandfather because he is over 1000 years old and Isshin is his father due to fact that he must have protected masaki from juhabach by using final getsuga. We know that juhabach is extremely old because he fought with yamamoto.



Observations from bleach:



Aizen says "born a human and a______" possible shinigami because quincy are actually humans with spiritual awareness.



Aizen glares at the sky "hiding him is a wise choice, its in their bloodline" the vanderiech were hidden for 1000 years. Possibly trying to say that isshin is hiding the truth again.



Ichigo was able to attain bankai which only a shinigami could achieve, but we now know that bankai can be stolen by a quincy.  



Conclusion:



Isshin used final getsuga to defeat juhabach and protect ichigo and masaki or isshin is not actually his real father. Rather someone who protects the truth as he only appeared to block the truth from aizen. But what I would like to expect is juhabach being a grandfather rather than a father. It is still unclear of how isshin can use final getsuga and also have similar zanpakto name as ichigo's.

So his mother was a Quincy.
