One of the main problem here is that people think that Shinigami, Quincy and Fullbringer are differents races when they are not.

Shinigami is as much of a teaching as Quincy is. Potent soul that end up in rukongai attend to the shinigami school and are raised as such, they also had the potential of being quincy but since the shinigami are monopolysing the strong souls with the way their established system work most if not all of them end up becomming Shinigami.

There is nothing wrong with a Quincy being able to learn Shinigami art and even get a zanpakutou and there would be nothing wrong with a Shinigami learning Quincy art. That is to say the same of fullbring.

The reason why Shinigami does not learn/despise Quincy art is because these go against their belief. Shinigami cleanse soul, they do not kill and do not have any wish to (Some exception may apply but I talk in a general basis).

Because of that Quincy were hated by SS and killed at sight for going against SS's ideal. Quincy couldn't get into SS and Shinigami wouldn't befriend them thus resulting in no Quincy being teached Shinigami art/lent a zanpakutou but this don't mean in any case that Quincy couldn't use one.

You see Shinigami are pretty much self centered and like to make themselve the center of the world when they are not. Shinigami power is just a potent source of power that can be used for anything else for that matter.

I'm pretty much sure that this will end up with these magic hunter being the source of shinigami's, quincy's and fullbring's power which were slowly separated through age.

Shinigami teaching is to cleanse the souls

Quincy teaching is to destroy the souls

Fullbring teaching is to use the souls.

It would be pretty much normal for the RG to be master in these three arts, basically being people that have total control over one's existence.

I swear, if Kubo really intends to end bleach with a war on soul society arc...I'm dropping this manga until its finished.

I'd rather watch read One Piece over and over again than read whatever this is.

Here's my theory:

Ishida or Ryuuken are NOT real Quincy, they are merely human with spiritual awareness that have learned some Quincy techniques or something. The real quincies could be something like "original" breed of spiritual aware beings - beings from which both Shinigamis and Fullbringers stem (as well as the shinigami/hollow crossovers)

This would explain why the dude uses fullbring and has hollow mask at the same time.

I think the five pointed star is a symbol of something important that might answer how the Bleach universe works and how all the "races" are tied together.

"We came to declare war on you."

Well, that's one way to do it, I suppose...not very tactical though...

An Arrancar Quincy? ZOMG, you know what this means?!? Ishida will finally get his level-up!

So Kubo really did pull out the quincy card. Well, it's about time. The plot is moving quite fast imo.

And about that necklace... ginjo had the same...

THIS.

I was thinking how to tie all the pieces together with the information that we currently possess... I thought up a few theories (but I will keep them to myself as some of them are really far fetched) as well as noticed few things.

Fullbringer arc. didn't really seem related to anything that has happened till now, aside for Ichigo restoring his powers and Shinigami Representative business. Ginjo seemed like a villain without a purpose, the whole business of stealing Ichigo's fullbring wasn't explained, nor was his own fullbring (even though everyone else's was detailed).

Seeing how Ginjo's fullbring comes from his cross necklace, and now seeing Ivan whipping out something similar, I'm starting to think that Fullbring Arc will have some heavy ties with the current one. Perhaps we know nothing about Ginjo yet because he is an important piece of the puzzle that the next arc (and whole series)  is.

So maybe this final holy war will be like... quincy vs. soul society? I think I remember something like that around the bount filler arc. Sounds like a good way to end off bleach, can't wait.

oomgz quincy/hollow whatever, bah I really should just drop this now and start reading this again in 10 years, cause that's when this arc is going to end.

These "quintespada" or whatever they are, can't be Royal Guards. That doesn't make sense. They might share the same powers as the royal guard but if they're the reason behind the dissapearing souls and hollows then they'd be damaging a system that the Soul King has been supporting for thousands of years. So Royal guard is not how I would describe them, I can't even accept the thought that they're ex-royal guards cause I have this feeling that... just like the shingami... once you're in, you're in forever, otherwise you'll be hunted down and locked up in a maggot's nest.

Except the current SS is pro-liberalism and going away from the ways they were in before.

Think about this - What has changed in last few years in ss? Easy - Ichigo came in and upset the balance of the place, challenging the laws that were set for thousands of years. It could be as simple as Soul King not liking the direciton  it all goes.

Remember what english people did when they did not like the fact that certain colony of theirs is getting too independent?

It would make sense for them to count SS as opposition, not to mention that there are millions of possibilities on why RG would count SS as enemies: Ichigo's existence and secret behind his birth for example

I'm still waiting for lots of answers.

What was the talk about "not opening the gate of hell"?

There are still some arrancars in hell aren't they? And that hell-guy shuren?

Didn't they want to use Ichigo to open the gate of hell? Maybe they're appearing again someday...

And about that necklace... ginjo had the same...

Where the hell is gin? is he even still alive?

and the MOST important thing: anyone ever saw Kon again? :D he just vanished :D

I swear, at least give me one answer the next 2 or 3 chapters... please..."not opening the gate of hell"? Are you talking about this special chapter

. If you are then it was just a filler ad for latest Bleach movie.

And I was wondering about Kon too, surprised I haven't seen him in Urahara's shop. Instead, we're getting two new characters that feel a bit too much like replacements for both Rukia and Kon...

Thats what is interesting: WE ASSUME, that Ivan IS part of the same group that did all that stuff or who approached Yamaji in the end. What if he is not? Maybe he is former or renegade RG, coming to warn them? Or some friend of Ryuuken's ?

What if the person who approached Hyori and vaizards who did NOT rejoin SS was someone else?

Also what is happening in SS and HM seems awfully like a purge for me. As if RG is cleaning up the place, to reset it all so to say - clean up those pesky liberals, build SS from the ground up

Notice how they hit exactly TWO places that Ichigo has changed with his actions? Halibel and Nel are in control of HM(with mayuri having labs there too) thanks to Ichigo and SS is changing thanks to Ichigo too.

Also what is interesting is that they are masked  - which connects nicely with Ikaku's implication that those civilians were gathered by "their own" - what if "Royal Guards" blend in into the SS existing there and monitoring stuff?  They would need masks to protect their real identities then.

That would fit with Aizen calling Urahara "SK's agent" (or something like that) also it would have a huge shock potential of revealing some important existing characters as villains.

-Ivan is against the black-masks... I do believe that.

-Behind the black-masks we'll see some familiar faces... very interesting theory, I'm willing to buy that.

-The black-masks are currently working FOR the Sprit King... can't grasp that idea simply because of the Tearing. Destroying Mayuri's effort to uphold a barrier and upsetting the balance of souls just doesn't feel like something the Spirit King would want.

You are assuming the black mask are the one upsetting the balance of souls.

In both case this can be justified anyway.

If they are the one that upsetted the balance on Spirit king's order it is because he is thinking that lately SS has become to conceited for it's own good.

Spirit king has been alive much much much longer than SS, SS era is just a blink of eye to him and he probably saw many federation alike to it and he probably crushed as much when they started to get too independant from him.

SS is becoming more and more liberal by the day and their reach is only getting further, it's not an exageration to say that they might be a potent problem in the future to deal with so destroying this system now could be a very probable decision.

If they aren't the one that upsetted the balance then they are probably looking for the ones that did (Aka Ivan's group in this case). It is possible that these black masked person approached Yamamoto with no intention of fighting. Order from higher must be given by someone and it may be possible that they are here to use SS's power for finding the group that upset the balance.

That's what I like about this chapter, things aren't clear, no side is either black or white yet and the story could go everyway from now on.
