Bleach Chapter 479 Discussion

Seriously? Another break? There was a week and a half after/during Christmas, then last week no chapter, and now we have to wait three weeks? THIS SUCKS.



Aside from that, great chapter. I'm glad we got to see the pretty definite ending of the arc and the new Captains. Kensei randomly showing up was kind of a derp moment, but it's all good.



I hope Riruka isn't dead.

Ichigo's being incredibly mature about the whole situation. Maybe I should use the word "incredibly", it should be about time for him to grow up. He's already mastered his powers. And it looks like his strength and the kindness within him is steadily healing and changing the Seireitei.



Damn, I'm interested to see where they go after the hiatus.  I wonder if they're gonna give Ichigo what he wants, too.

Thus it ends; it was surprised yet not surprised at the same time at Ichigo's request; and while i think the whole trusting factor by keeping the badge is cliche and predictable i don't see what was the point in him keeping it; didn't it just restrict his powers and let them monitor him? If he still wanted to trust them for whatever reasons couldn't even have still done so by not restricting his own powers? I hope after the three week hiatus we get back to some plot instead of this manga style filler; anything concerning Urahara, Ichigo's dad, or Ichigo's origin would be welcomed; the Soul King which was left hanging after Aizen was defeated wouldn't be bad either.

I thought Riruka would stay with them if not too long but at least a few more chapters. I liked her character a lot and I'll miss her :(

I'm not sure either if Riruka flew or suicide.



Well, now that this arc is finished Kubo should start thinking of ending the series and maintain it's glorious fame before is too late... if he chooses to continue it will kill the series.



He has to understand that Bleach was always inclined to have a base story type instead of an arc type, since Bleach isn't an adventure as One Piece is. I really wish he stops strangling to keep the series when there is almost nothing more to explain.

Wow, haven't seen the Vizards in years but I actually remembered who they were.



So...what? Did he get the body back? Did Riruka just "a hero" herself?



Hopefully Kubo gets his shit together in the next 3 weeks.

Next arc/saga will be the final chapter according to what Kubo said in an interview years ago. "There we be two more arcs after the arrancer arc, a small one and a big one."

Yes, that is true, he did say that.  When he said that he also said that it would only take three more years.   

But mere weeks after that he completely disregarded the statement and said he was not even half-way done.  And if you look at his interview for the 2012 Jumpfest he says that Bleach is only half-way done and it will be ten years before it finishes with an unknown number of arcs.   
Also this upcoming arc will reintroduce Aizen.



On the bright side though, KENSEI showed up!   *cheers* and Komamura at least got a face cameo.  With ten years of manga left = 500 chapters Tite Kubo should have enough time to give all the characters some love.  I'm going to be reading this until I'm thirty!  *weeps*

uhhh an alright chapter i guess bleach will be going on a 3 week break to collect data lool
