I'm pretty sure the reason they're 'so weak' is because of the actual power of lieutenant-class shinigami. Renji knows his ban-kai, which makes him almost captain level. Also, the fact that they've been fighting incredibly strong enemies prior doesn't leave much room for these fullbringers to catch up.

just because they apparently have ichigos power, doesn't mean they have more than his fullbring's power. i don't believe they could take his shinigami/hollow powers; therefor they aren't as powerful as they think they are.

just my thoughts on it. i thought this episode was cool. i like character development like this. Renji and Ikaku get their butt's kicked enough, imo.

Well this pretty much adds to my theory on shinigami being the badguys. So far ever since their reintroduction they have been acting like complete dicks. They have been messing in things they should not have any right to decide anything. this chapter only proves that.

Jackie is pretty much the weakest FB though and I still find it interesting on how self-centered shinigami act. Ishida's guesses pretty much might turn out true.

and LOL@Shishigiwara's reaction to Ikaku's ridiculousness.

i don't really get how it supports that theory. i don't see how this doesn't concern them.

Ichigo saved them, and now they're saving him.

As for Ikaku/Renji; they might be showing off a little, but i still don't see how that supports them being the bad guys.

in the past, they might have been, but right now it just doesn't make sense to say that.

lol these guys think they are all that once they receive Ichigo's powers and they are still weak.

Didn't Aizen die when he fought Ichigo? So why was Renji training the past 17 months to fight him?

Erm no.

Might need to start reading the manga for real.

Aizen is immortal. He is connected to hogyoku and hogyoku is indestructible even if no longer in sync with aizen.  He was sealed by Urahara after delivering that speech about Soul King and latter on was sentenced into prison (which, imo, pretty much means that Ichigo will need to break him out eventually)

the last page was nice..

so this arc is ending.. i hope we'll get some decent enemies next time

Erm no its not.

tsukishima's reason for avoiding any cameras or recordings.

Riruka betraying fbs.

Isshin's connection to all this shit that is happening.

isshin's connection to ginjou.

The reason on why SS did not tell anything to Ichigo and why they are so trigger happy in this whole thing.

Moon motif.

Ichigo's dream Ichigo can't remember.

Aizen!! I feel so happy to hear this name again... not!

Renji is really badass as well as Ikkaku.

Good that dirty woman got owned, I really don't like her.

Why are people saying that Aizen died? I'm pretty sure he's effectively immortal.

Anyways, this chapter tells me one of two things:

1. Aizen is at large.

2. The Shinigami have been using Aizen to train and get stronger.

I've said it before: this arc just reminds me of those average bleach movies.
