Thats result of him taking Ichigo's FB. The sword handle changed after it absorbed Ichigo's FB.

Sorry but Ginjou already has the skull on his sword (chapter 458) before he took the Fullbring of Itchigo (chapter 459), then try again Enstein  !!!



And even if  they use Sado or Inoue as shields , Rukia or Renji alone can take care of them easily...

Chapter 458, Page 19: Thus sword changes.



It has nothing to do with his personality. He just merged his two fullbrings(the normal one, sword and his shinigami one) in order to take Ichigo's power



as for other part... lol@ rukia or renji being enough to take down either miss hogyokuv2 or person who is fast enough to tag most of captains minus the power four.

Thats still unknown, actually. We have yet to see Rukia's flashback(as it, s well s Ichigo's dream both are still left mysteriously uncovered, meaning there are some important plotpoints around it), we still have mayuri being utterly shady with stuff he found in hm(he spent all his time there after aizen's defeat, remember?) and it was quite clear that there were a lot of shinigami unhappy with Yamamoto's decision.

on the chapter. soul society is paying back and i agree with above posts. ichigo does live to clean up their mess. rukia, arrancer, aizen, ginjo and next is that thing aka soul king.
