Ichigo had hollow power inside him since before the manga startedProve it, because  now you are making assumption that he had "hollow power" or "Hollow"(this white guy, called Hichigo) inside him(or born with it). It is only said that he had zangetsu + his father was shinigami.AFAIR, his mother was killed when Ichigo had 9 years. So not even hollow power he can got like fullbringers. When he was training with Urahara, Hichigo was born.  



Rest is your assumptions.

Zangetsu said that him and Hollow Ichigo always has been once and the same.

If you accept that Zangetsu was there before manga then you must automaticaly accept that Hollow Ichigo was also there before manga.



Just like Fai said, Ichigo is a fullbringer, not everyone can be a fullbringer because it require being affected by hollow energy (or whatever you want to spell it) when the host of the fullbring is still in his mother's wombs.

Ichigo having hollow power ever since he was born wouldn't be a strech, actually it would solve many question and would actually make more sense than the assumption made over the assumption of your memories.



TL;DR : Ichigo was related to the hollow and shinigami world in more than one way before he was even born.
