Well that was really disappointing... I didn't expect it to be good but I didn't expect it to be this bad either... Good thing is all characters looked rather good as adults.
Well it was a good ride nonetheless. Thank you for all these years Ken, and I'm sorry to see that your manga had to end this way.

I AM SO DISAPPOINT.
Through the process of elimination, Negi's wife must either be Anya or some other girl that has not been mentioned for a while.
Grr, I've been reading this for so long (from the Mahora martial arts tournament?) waiting for answers to my questions, but many never got answered D:
Well, it certainly wasn't a BAD ride all in all, but its kind of an underwhelming ending.

In the first chapter, Negima told Asuna "Your love will be unrequitted" (in other words, unfulfilled or un-returned).
Asuna's love is indeed unrequitted when she returns in 2135 to find Negima dead. Until Chao (in her long-long awaited return) rewrites history to 'a blank page' using her awesome hacking stopwatches of hacks.
^ THAT was a good ending. But the last chapter (and 354) were complete trite (the 2nd time skip was uneccessary because the future details of all the characters could have easily been shown after chapter 353, Yue being assaulted should be left to the doujins, too vague about the true route and Nagi has no right to show up so casually after such a long journey).
I'd still give it 9/10. It was an amazing manga for it's 9 years, but the last 2 chapters need to be ignored. I would suggest that Ken planned to finish Negima at the events of 353, but his plotline ended too quickly and he had to write 2 more chapters from nothing.
Let's treat the last two chapter as two different one-shot.

Seriously, am i the only one that caught up on this? Makie called Nagi father and was all super nervous about meeting him, so that obviously means Negi was dating Makie at the end there!But isn't it common practice for younger friends who is very close friends to call their friends' father, father? Well in Japanese of course. Otou-san being the word. Because calling Nagi by Nagi-san means she is real close with him, (ex: daily basis meeting and friends) and Springfield-san is rarely used in the manga, so Otou-san is the respectful way of greeting him. Granted she was the first to greet him, but Makie's nature just makes her nervous around his father because of course she likes Negi.
Also later it goes on stating "While gaining the frenetic support of her male students and colleagues, she is still focused on Negi. She looks forward to going up on days off in order to meet with her friends and Negi."
This shows she doesn't actually live with Negi or meets with him in a relationship manner. Negi is probably as thick headed as ever when it comes to something serious.

and okay they do end up fixing Mars but Negi's main reason finding daddy is how...? who knows for all we know Negi pulled Nagi out of the ground and made him a zombie, sheesh at least im trying to explain from where Nagi came from.
and Negi loves hmmm im going to say Naru from Love Hina
