Good to see the old Negima is back even though is just for a couple of chapters

hmm are they setting it up for the eventual dissolution of the pactios? it would be a shame. either way, negi being busy makes sense but he cant be absent like this in too many chapters.



as for the negiXfate thing....are you guys insane?

Next week we go back to the wacky hijinks of the early chapters. Negi fails a spell that was supposed to help one of the students with her body image problems via breast augmentation. Accidentally sex-changes the entire class without altering their sexual orientation. Doesn't have time to find a way to undo it on account of the whole thing he's trying to do with that upcoming apocalypse.



The most puzzling part is that after this whenever Negi uses magic he finds himself in a naval uniform. Or you'd think it was, except that I can't possibly imagine who would want to wear a skirt like that among lonely seamen. Also now everyone always sparkles and no one can figure out why.



More pressing concerns right now though. We've got a world to save and only nine years in which to do it.

NegixFate has been shipped since age ago and now we at least know that one of them is somehow interested so of course the shipper gotta ship.

I'll admit, I was cracking up throughout this chapter. I guess the silver lining of the rushed finale is a pseudo return to form. It's a strange feeling being back in Mahora already, though.

Well I think that it's too easy for Akamatsu to make it so that they just think it's CG.

I wouldn't be surprised if a (or a few) new character arise soon, that isn't related to the class, and that try to dig up information about these 'CGI' to learn the truth.



But then if Negi need the help of Ayaka and Chizuru it is most probably because he will involve the whole human world in the process of saving the magical world.



I took the time to think about these last 10 chapters and afterall i'm liking where this is going, there was some deus ex machina but which shonen doesn't have some anyway? If Akamatsu would focus too much on every little thing then we wouldn't get anywhere in years.



Some people probably readed it as being the last arc and thus expected things they wouldn't have expected if they thought that there's a few more arc after this one.

I can't say I liked it. I used to love Mahora chapters but this one feels different to me, and the humour is lacking at best. Let's hope things get back on track.
