----------------------------------------

I'm honestly not sure what to think about this. I guess it's normal to feel confused in the middle of a series of revelations.

And how is Negi's black magic still acting up? I thought he fixed that.

As usual the harem characters entertain us before the real stuff is revealed. I was confused about what Eva was talking about, but thankfully you guys clarified what was going on those last few pages... Movie on Aug 27th.

That's BS for people that didn't read carefully.

Since the start, why are so many mage centered around this school? Why are there so many magical phenomenon around it, why the yggdrasil tree is that powerfull, why Fate did come to the real world to begin with, why the school has many protection.

This explain a lot of things that we were said to just accept earlier.

i agree it was somewhat foreshadowed for a long time that they hiding someone big inside the school.

No i knew that it made sense and there was a tone of foreshadowing, what i thought was BS was the fact that there biggest enemy was right there the whole time and they just ignored him and let students roam around the holding ground for the most dangerous mage of all time , i personally thought there was definitely not enough security it just seemed a bit to relaxed but I guess you can just blame that on the Dean.

Because it makes a great cover, who would have tough that the Mage of the beginning is in the human world in an all out girl school.

The only ones that knew were Fate group that was tough to be annilated and the one that annilated them to begin with aka Ala rubra.

Also I'm pretty much sure that the seal is one of the strongest seal existing if not the strongest, except if huge preparation were made I beleive that the seal couldn't even be scratched.

They never really cared about the Mage of the beginning, yes he was the strongest foes the magical world ever faced but would you go saying to Negi that his dad most probably sacrified himself to seal him and that he is underground of the school? That would cause unnecesary problem.

We weren't told earlier because there was no meaning to, now that the seal might be endangered it is the time.

It's been over a month since we had the last Negima chapter so this was a good chapter after all the wait. The revelation about The Mage of the Beginning being in sealed away in Mahora makes more sense of the magical protection systems in place there. I really didn't think too much about why there was so much concentration of mages and magic in Mahora until this chapter. Just like some have already commented, this would explain more of the importance of the World Tree and Mahora Academy as a base for mages, and probably as well as why there is so much magic that comes from the World Tree.

I'm not too sure yet, but is The Mage of the Beginning the one who turned Eva into a vampire those many years ago? It seems that way from the text as Al says that one who changed her life into a vampire is still alive after she thought she killed him, but is still alive. So this would mean that maybe we will have a Eva vs. The Mage of the Beginning battle? That would be an interesting battle, both being powerful mages and Eva probably wanting revenge for herself and maybe Nagi too, maybe because his disappearance is related to The Mage of the Beginning? I don't know. But I can probably say that while The Mage of the Beginning is probably more powerful, Eva is still immortal, unless she is killed from methods not explained before.

So it also looks as if the Negi/Fate battle is wrapping up soon, but now it seems from foreshadowing that Negi will have to continue his battle in the real world against The Mage of the Beginning. Will Nagi make his appearance then? We'll just have to wait and see.

I actually think it makes a lot of sense to want to seal the Mage of the Beggining away from the Magical World, using the school as a cover. It also explains Yggdrasill's magical power, why is library island is a labyrinth and the dragon protecting the bottom. Now I'd like to know exactly does Eva fit in all of this, as well as Albireo's circumstances and why did he tell Negi that his father was still alive when now he says he sacrified himself to re-do the seal.

Sacrifice do not mean death.

There is many possibility:

-Either Nagi isn't the hero he was talking about.

-Either Nagi had to seal himself away with the mage of the beginning.

-Either Nagi atteined 'ceaselessness' which probably means that he stoped to exist the moment the seal was made. Unsealing the mage of the beginning may result in Nagi comming back.

Anyway I doubt that Albiero lied when he said that Nagi was still alive as the pactio card really was still active (Even Rakan's is) which means that Nagi is really alive unlike Mana's pactio that turned off when her partner died.

He did not 'fixed' it, he learned to control it which are two totally different thing.

Negi now is pretty much game breaking as he seem to not even be going all out against Fate and Fate is being pushed that much.

Ok this is all starting piece together. If im not mistaken, its something like this:

-Mage of begininning is the so called vampire that turn eva to what she is now.

-She got her powers from him thats why she was able to invent the Magea Erebea which fate mention was a technique of his master

-20years ago was the war, fate and gang lost. 10 years ago was the sealing fate lost again, and  i highly doubt the sacrifies was nagi but it could be erika instead because when negi was 4 years old, nagi rescued him so nagi cant be the sacrifies.

-Albireo Imma is staying underground to guard the seal. he said he lost his powers and can only activate magic near the school grounds because of something that happen 10years ago which i presume was the battle of the sealing.

-nagi dissppeared 10years ago same time as the sealing

now question is, where is nagi now?
