We don't know how long ago Eva's copy was placed within the scroll. It was probably several hundred years ago (She would be over 500 now, due to being born in the One Hundred Years War), long before Eva stopped training. More so, "without training" Eva was still able to defeat a god resurrected through magic, as well as Fate (during the Kyoto Arc). Eva is extremely strong regardless of how little training we have not seen her do. She still was able to train both Negi and Asuna, in person before going to England, without trying.

@blopa: I think Dynamis here is referring to the Mage of the Beginning and not Eva.

Yeah but Dynamis stated that Negi had extended his master technique, when he did not. Which lead to beleive that Magia erebea WASN'T his master technique but an extention of it. Which lead to beleive that Dynamis and Eva might have learned under the same teacher and not that Eva is Dynamis's master.

Thank god the power of words are not being used to try and console Negi here.



But seriously, this transformation is bad ass. He totally ripped through Dynamis.



And about who his master is, it is the technique created solely by Evangeline. I do not doubt him, that is Dynamis, once having been a disciple.

I really hope he doesn't kill the fake Asuna :(  



It is good seeing the devastating power that skill has, but I hope it doesn't drive him to kill her.

I loved the double meaning of Dynamis' hot, seriously hot comments xD.

Don't think so. I mean Eva was also known as the doll master. Dynamis uses puppets too.

if the story played out like this, i think it would make for a much greater impact, and it would make Negi grow even further than he has now. up until now, although he knows that there is a great risk to him and everyone who comes with him, no one has actually died yet. so i think this would be a very profound turn of events.

As much as I agree with you this series has always been a no one dies series so the likelihood of her dying is rather small :(. What further supports her chance of survival is that she still hasn't revealed her new artefact power that she contracted with Negi. I'm guessing that will come into play here.

This is a 'no body dies in this manga' series



And at least Ken won't make Negi kill someone

I thought that she only gave up trying to master the absorb enemy power technique. Not Magia Ereba completely. The Magia Ereba technique was designed to work for her alone so even if she uses it, it shouldn't turn her into a beast like Negi is now.
