Mahou Sensei Negima! Chapter 296 Discussion

Reading this chapter didn't really explain much, instead made me think of even more unanswered questions...



Zazie's artifact creates an ideal/illusion/maybe even an alternative space or dimension that she has control over, though regardless it's probably an illusion of some sort.

Then there's the issue of name cosmo entelecheia itself (the same name as Fate's group). Still don't know exactly what her connection to their group is...

Guess we're stuck hoping and waiting for answers in the coming chapters.

Hmm, makes me wonder more about C.E; is it a real world, or some alternate magic one.

So we are back to the time when Negima didn't seem to have an actual plot XD

Now, it this a dream or an alternate reality (like the one in which Fate fought Rakan)? If Zazie's pactio is capable of creating Cosmo Entelecheia then she was more heavily related to the infamous whar than I expected. and LOL at Arika overprotecting Negi XD

Taking in mind the name of the card, I place my bet on this being a big performance, with the weird phantoms surrounding Zazie playing the role of the people around Negi. Proyecting the image of a person Negi knows on the phantoms would have a certain resemblance to the use illusionist gave to the magic lantern.

I think many was expecting a big battle or something epic between Negi and Zazie along the lines of that in this chapter, but Akamatsu threw a bit of a curve ball and showed us Zazie's pactio ability of creating some sort of illusionary ideal world that is called Cosmo Entelecheia.



I'm pretty much with everyone here as now things seem confusing again. I didn't fully understand Zazie's point in what she did this chapter, but it was nice to see a bit of the most ideal world for Negi as seeing both Nagi and Arika casually visiting him at Mahora Academy. Hopefully the next chapter will be more clear.

this gotta be the worst chapter I've read in Negima in a while. Boring.

Oh, for heavens sake.



Haven't we already done this?

Maybe it's just powerful hypnotism.

Yeah I feel the same way. Especially after the epic-ness of the last chapter.
