a chapter full of thoughts and emotions.. i love how arika is so unwavering

Nagi should appear right about the time she's forced to jump off. I'm guessing that this will be the spark to Ala Rubra's downfall. Them doing this would put them on the top wanted list of the megalomesembrian senate and a hunt would probably begin which leads to the separation and eventual dissolution of Ala Rubra.



And this chapter mentioned something about the heart of the graveyard, whatever that is I think that's the crux of the entire story, a major plot device.

yeah...but knowing that in my mind kinda ruins the tension of whats going to happen next...

O_O! Akamatsu's way to tell the story gets even better. I loved this chapter because of that, but I feel really sorry for Arika.

For a magical world, one would expect their execution methods to be less old fashioned?

Actually, magical worlds (despite this being on Mars) are linked more to the past than the future. But, anyway, she's not seen as an honourable woman, so she wouldn't get an honourable death (eg. a fight to the death, death from a firing squad).



Plus, a mage being killed in a place where one cannot cast magic would be ultimately humiliating.
