now that i think about it did Nagi gain any specific abilities from his mother's side, or traits. if not maybe he will later.

Really? I've always liked Chisame more than the rest, as she's my 2nd favorite pick for a heroine (1st's asuna :D). Well at least since she became a main character.
I'm a Neginodo fan myself, so... yeah, it really sucked XD

On a side note it's really sad to see how long it takes for new chapters of Negima to be out. This chapter was released in Japan last week and we only get it this week. Stupid how so many groups are fighting over releases of the WSJ related mangas (namely the big 3) and leaving out such an awesome manga like Negima.
I'd bet that Magia Ereba actually stunts your true power somewhat, or something. That's what I've always thought, as Eva is probably still a lot more powerful than Negi currently is. Or maybe Eva just didn't feel evil enough?...Or it could not work on Earth?
Yeah, I sat there for ages waiting for this chapter to come out. I thought the groups had just forgot about it, or left it there, thinking they'd uploaded it...but hadn't (I've done it before).

Yes, it was exciting...but the whole beserker thing seems kind of...generic, doesn't it? Every hero does it at least once.
I guess you can call that a kind of manga protagonist trait? Not original but fun to see nevertheless.

Because Akamatsu is too busy banging his cosplaying waifu.
LOL XD Anyway, the reason is simple: Akamatsu comes from a "data gathering" week (damn, I can't get Feka's comment out of my mind now XD), and then there was a double release of the magazine, so last week there was no release at all. So it's not entirely Akamatsu's fault.

I don't remember she stoped using it. Maybe it's more like she can't use any magic at all due to Nagi's curse.
About the chapter itself, now we can finally see that Magia Eberea's side effect was turning the user into a blood-lusting demon, pretty logical thinking that a demon developed it in the first place. Also, for Godel to actually want to be killed by Negi was pretty interesting too... wonder if there's something wrond with his head or he actually has something else under his sleeve.
