Well, there is a slight chance that Godel isn't as bad a guy as they make him out to be.

When the village was attacked Nagi comes & saves Negi.

This means he knew about the attack.

So, either he was keeping an eye on the village or was informed by someone like Godel (Making him their double agent in the senate).

Also their is a possibility that the senate made the decision & he agreed to it for the following reasons:

1) Since no one dies, their isn't much point in trying to stop it.

2) He wanted to see if Nagi appears to rescue his son & his village.

3) He wanted Negi to have a reason to come to Mundus Magicus (The reasons being - To look for his father, who he now knows is alive & To find his true enemy who attacked his village).

4) He had to remain loyal to the senate till the time when the finally stop them with his help etc.

5) Or may be he is just a bad guy & I'm wasting my time trying to look for reasons for his actions.

lol well you cant say that and not expect a punch or two. still tho, i am curious to see where this goes.

Same that part is much more fun to read about haha, but those serious moments are not bad either

FINALLY, he shuts up for a moment... :] He deserved that punch in the face, very much so. I am quite curious to see how the future fights will be planned...

yea i knew he was going to force an answer on Negi, and that answer of who his true enemy is from that day.



since he said it's not the likely ones u may have speculated i guessed it would be someone he knew; but dam it was him all along and his senate which is basically to his control i presume



now to figure out why, which is probably something to do with his mom's supposed betrayal and maybe to make Negi strong for some reason.
