Well, she did not want to talk about her relationship with Asuna, so I don't think it's something as simple as those two being sisters. Aside from that, Nagi was a real brat with Arika: Learn some manners, you moron! otherwhise you won't find a girfrie... wait a minute..

Is it possible that Asuna is Arika?

i thought takamichi was older than negi's father, but the takamichi in the flashback looks younger than negi's father.

Nice chapter by the way. I agree with asterixk's theory, too (though, I had already guessed it before I started reading this chapter).

Hmm I can't wait for next chapter =D, want to see if the princess did turn out to be Negi's mother and all. Fate's past is pretty interesting too =]

Supposedly, she never started aging until reaching the Real World with Takamichi. Remember, she first met Nagi and the rest of Ala Rubra in the Magic World 20 years ago during the big war.
