Hikaru just acknowledged what I said in the last chapter discussion. That Sai has been in the background for awhile, but also how he also wants to face Toya Meijin someday. Hikaru tells him to hang in there and he'll get to play someday. Maybe once is what he tells Sai, so Sai tells Hikaru that if he only has one shot of playing, he wants to go all out and face Meijin. Makes sense tho. But Hikaru realizes he's not good enough for that to happen, but at the same time he feels like he's being selfish. Sai feels bad pressuring him and tells him not to worry about it.
Hikaru starts having doubts about himself because he's been on a losing streak, but realizes he just needs to win a game to get his mood back up and regain confidence in himself. Even though his skills are improving, he still keeps losing. He doesn't understand why that is if he keeps playing against Sai who is a high caliber opponent, but Sai tells him it's for that reason he keeps losing. Because all he plays against is Sai and not anybody else. He's not gaining enough battle experience against other people.
