Man, Light is such a cunning asshole. I LOVE him! I still think it's kind of a shame that she had to die, because she was an interesting character. I also think the scene was really cool in the anime, with the awesome visuals and soundtrack accompanying it. But the overall art of the manga really is superior. Light is hot as fuck, yo!

I do like how the manga transitioned from Raito killing only criminals to killing sympathetic characters too.

Really felt sad for her but the manga potrayed the same tension when I watched it in the anime 🔥

it shows how he has changed already from an innocent high school boy who wants to make the world a better place by eradicating criminals into someone who will do anything to keep his power and keep himself from being found out!

He was never "innocent", what he did in the beggining was morally wrong, even if he had "righteous" objectives. But now he's showing his true colours more and more, and how, in fact, he doesn't care about "right" or "wrong", he doesn't want to get rid of "evil" in the world, he wants to rid the world of people he doesn't like and/or inconvenience him. That's the kind of person he is.

Light's such an asshole!

And my dislike for Ratio grows! Naomi was incredibly awesome, she was so cool in the Los Angeles BB Murder Cases, working under L. The only reason this worked out for Ratio was because Naomi was desperate to help catch Raye's killer. He used this against her like it was nothing to him. Ratio is a monster.

God poor Naomi, that scene was a gut-puncher in the anime and it's still a gut-puncher here. She was smart but Light was smarter on this occasion. And I think this is where Light's descend into madness begins just this very death is what drove him off the deep end, at this point he doesn't care who is a criminal or not, he just wants the satisfaction of killing people knowing it's for his "Just" world.

This is a great chapter and shows how much persuasive and clever Light is. I really loved this chapter
