D.Gray-man Chapter 196 Discussion

D.Gray ma is just terrible now...



The art is confusing and messy and the story is going off in tangents I and lots of others cannot understand.



It should be cancelled and the mangaka should work on something new imho.

I'm hoping next chapter will be a little more focused than this one. I'm still having problems telling the characters apart. I'm just gonna guess that the Noah we saw was Tyki based on the scars on his chest.

As of last chapter I had no difficulties understanding the plot progression and telling the characters apart. Actually, I think the plot is pretty straightforward, even though it might seem confusing because of all the characters and details. I don't remember all the new characters, though, but that should be expected considering their limited appearances and the monthly releases (and the hiatuses). And the art is very detailed and impressive, and not as confusing if you know what's going on.



Still, I hope this arc will end soon, because I'm really curious about the outcome.

Latest action is crazy, I wonder how they still are alive. xD

If there ever will be some animated episodes based on last few chapters this will be for the staff hard time to deal with it!

Pretty good chapter. I've just decided to separate in my mind the D.Gray-man before the mangaka's injury from the current D.Gray-man because it's so different. This chapter was clearer than previous ones and I know what's going on now.

Allen's so sad because he can't save Alma. But now he's trying his best to save Alma.(as well as Kanda)



I guess the arc gonna end around 2 more chapters. Wonder what's gonna happened at the end of this arc, it's hard to predict the outcome.xD

Cant wait for the next chapter this august. I think allen was actually saving" both" Alma and Yuu.



But Im looking forward on Allen's issues on being the 14th Noah.
