I know Road has a soft spot for Allen and all, but did I miss something here or aren't they supposed to be on opposite sides of this Exorcist war?  Ha.  Though why Road is also viewing the past alongside with Allen is still a mystery to me (like, why the author decided to place here there).

You didn't miss anything. She's just helping him because she doesn't want him to lose his mind like that. If she will ever have to kill him she would prefer whatever happens to happens in the real world. She's also kind of a teaser and as you said she has a soft spot for him. She's intrigued too much by him to let him go crazy there.

So the second apostles are just dead exorcist who had the brains transplanted in to super body's in a way. So the flowers Kanda sees all the time are the memories of his previews life.

Interesting but i guess now we learned all there is to learn about the subject, hope we finish with this trip down to memory lain in the next chapter. Am curious to see what are the Earl's plans about Alma. Why does he want to awaken him. Also we have a batch of exorcist and scientist in a very bad situation.

I really liked this chapter despite the fact that it was so sad; it really cleared things up!

I'm interested to see what Allen will do now that he's seen the Black Orders true colours (no pun intended), and how Kanda will react to having his memories invaded. I think it's pretty likely that Allen will move to the third side of the war!

I really wish we could move back to a chapter per week...the story would flow so much better (and I'd get my DGM fix every week ^__^)

Although the chapter was good, it was a tad bit confusing, Im hoping we return to the present now and maybe have the 14th invade Allen again or something along those lines, I wouldnt mind seeing Lenalee either..

this chapter just makes me more confuzzled!

if marie died in the past and his brain was used to 'make' kanda,

then how is he still alive to fish kanda out from the sewer?!

and if he'd already died in the past, how come he's still alive in the present?!

am i the only one NOT sick of kanda?

Marie didn't died. He's just heavily injured. The Order then planned to use Marie in the second apostle project. And it's not Marie's brain that was used to make Kanda, its someone else brain who we don't know. And it's impossible for Kanda's brain to be Marie since Kanda and Marie meet each other in chapter 191. Also, Kanda's was make 1st before Marie got injured, so another reason that Kanda's brain is not make from Marie.Hope this clear out a bit.:)
