Wow...so because I had completely forgotten all the little details from last chapter, I had to re-read that one again to actually make sense of what happened this chapter. I really don't like how a lot of the battles are being skipped over, because when I saw Kanda lying on the floor in this chapter, I was like, "when the hell did that happen?" Anyway, between last chapter and this one, it seems like he was totally owned by the Noah he fought, of course.
The relationship between Alma and Kanda is quite intriguing. From what was described in this chapter between the two, I think that's the most we'll get of their history. Though I'm hoping we get some more next chapter because I still don't really understand their connection, besides the fact that Kanda and Alma fought to the death as children, and Kanda apparently won, which is why he was able to roam as an excorcist, and Alma was sealed away. But how does any of this relate to the flower pot that we saw in the early chapters with Kanda's regeneration ability? Alma definitely has that kind of power, but I think we're still missing something.
As for Allen's surprise entrance, good stuff, as I really do hope we actually get to see a fight occur next chapter. Though, I honestly do not know how much of a fight he'll be putting up...all by himself. Unless I missed where everyone else might be...?
And I'm a little confused about the human Earl and the normal Earl? I assumed earlier that they were the same entity. The switching of the body forms is really throwing me off. :(
