Kanda did look "prettier" at some points in this chapter, but in general his character design has gotten more mature and masculine looking. That much is evident when you look at the level 4 battle with Kanda and Allen, or even the previous chapter. Besides, maybe Hoshino made him look "prettier" than usual this chapter because she wasn't sure how else to draw an emotional/softer Kanda lol.



Wow, I didn't know that good looking guys being around eachother with no females present automatically turns them all gay... interesting.
