Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 80 Discussion

great chapter. it had everything from ugly Envy to Al and Winry's friendly teasing of each other about their romantic prospects to a comic discussion of the Armstrong siblings and the serious parts of the immortal army in Central to the meeting between Al and his father. A perfect balance of comedy and seriousness.

Forgot that Envy stays alive afterwards. Decent chapter.

Damn I didn't expect Hohenheim and Al will meet!

The handling of Mei's involvement in the story is so strange to me

I prefer how more serious Brotherhood made Hohenheim and Al's reunion is,

but I wouldn't mind that comedic passed reaction and his memory of his armor.

But then the frequent comic relief is the biggest flaw of FMA.



I wish Brotherhood had the jealous moment of Winry, since in the anime she doesn't seem jealous at all, since she's smiling and doesn't make a grimace when she first sees Rose and Rose mentions Ed.
