Full Metal Alchemist Chapter 79 Discussion

Amazing chapter. that was simply a brilliant act by Marcoh. I'm somewhat at a loss after Envy died. he's my favorite villain in this series.

Aw, I have been waiting for this chapter for quite a while. Hm, that other guy sure put on a good act. For a second I was cursing him out in that he betrayed them - but he was good. Dr. Marcoh sure made Envy look like an idiot.

I was kind of sad at this chapter. I liked Envy a lot, despite him being a villain.

Okay nevermind Zanpano is a man! Dr. Marcoh actually killed Envy!!?!!?

While the battle was rather disappointing and I'm fairly certain that it will cost Marcoh his life, I liked how it was portrayed.  Great chapter overall, can't wait for the next one.

Hah, take that Envy. His original form's weird.

Weird to skip the destruction of Drachma like that, kind of anti-climactic same with how we haven't had Envy involved in the story for a while and as soon as he is re-introduced, he shows up by himself and gets outsmarted and decimated by Marcoh and company. I like that they give Marcoh a win, but I mean everything in this chapter feels very sudden.

I had some high hopes, that Dr. Marcoh had some insane power inside him. And finally he made some good use of it. Almost epic chapter. Good riddance Envy, at least i hope so.

Ugh his last form was gross.



Anyways glad that the other chimera wasn't really a traitor but now I am confused, Why did destroying the Philosopher's stone kill him? They have already tried ripping out the philosophers stone from a few of the people and nothing happened.

I'm so happy Marcoh was able to defeat Envy. :3

What? Is that how he dies in the manga? Totally unexpected.
