Loved this volume! Now that backstory is done, I wonder how will the story continue!

Best chapter so far. So many feelings. I can't even describe it.

How was Kimblee was just able to consume the stone like that without any pain or repercussions?

Also, kind of disappointing just how quickly the story glosses over Mustang scouting out his team, I mean it's not really integral to the overall plot, but it would've been nice to maybe flesh them out a bit.

Volume 15 was pretty strong, giving a slice of how terrible and cruel war really is. It’s fiction, of course, but I don’t think that real warfare is very much far from how Arakawa represented it in this manga. I appreciated the total absence of jokes in these chapters, it made it feel serious as it should be.

You can tell a lot of new storyline are opening up post flashback, with madam Christmas and the north. Feels like the story is entering a new phase.

..thinking about pausing this for a little bit. The recent stuff with fruba has really made me frustrated with this community and I'm having a hard time experiencing this while the fans do gross stuff. I'm usually okay with separating the work from the fans but it's been so in my face today that I need a break. This is genuinely my favorite animanga and one of my favorite pieces of fiction in general but I hate being a part of this community. A lot of us are fine but the ones that aren't are horrible. So I have to stop for a little.

Sucks to be the doctors in this case ... Getting killed like that by the very person that saved you. Also wondering what happened to the Crimson Alchemist after all of that.
